About the research
The report analyzes 3,268 unique CV files from FreeCVAudit audit-cache records, deduplicated using SHA-256 content hashing. The data cut was recorded on 5 October 2026.
“Material issues” means medium- or high-severity audit findings. Low-severity observations are excluded from the headline material-issue figures.
The sample is self-selected: it comes from people who chose to audit their CVs. Audit scores are internal diagnostic metrics, not employer ATS pass probabilities or evidence of hiring outcomes.
